Miss Kick and Mitre Collaborate To Support Future Leaders In Football
March 2024 marks an exciting milestone as Miss Kick joins forces with Mitre in a groundbreaking partnership. The British football brand, Mitre, is stepping up to support our Foundation's mission. They will be sponsoring 10 aspiring female players on their journey to obtain their Introduction to Football Coaching qualifications.
Furthermore, Mitre's generous contribution includes supplying these 10 coaches with essential footballs and equipment for their coaching and training endeavours.
Beth Fletcher-Hunt, Senior Brand Manager at Mitre, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, "As a brand that is so passionate about grassroots football, and making the game accessible and inclusive for all, we’re really pleased to be able to partner with the Miss Kick Foundation. The work that they do to empower girls and teams in football is so important, and hopefully our donation financially and through equipment will enable a group of players to achieve their future dreams to coach."
Grace Vella, Founder of Miss Kick and Miss Kick Foundation, echoes this sentiment, emphasising, "At Miss Kick, we’re on a mission to ensure the needs of the growing female football community are met, both on and off the pitch. Working with Mitre to remove the barriers girls still face, such as access to equipment, support and relatable role models is incredible. We are grateful to have their support".
This two-year partnership also will see Mitre and Miss Kick collaborate on awareness campaigns across social platforms, as well as community giveaways and competitions. Additionally, as the official ball supplier for FA Competitions, including the Adobe Women's FA Cup Final, four lucky winners from the Miss Kick community will receive invitations to watch the final at Wembley Stadium.
