We're Proud To Support The Skelmersdale School Girls Football League!

Growing up, our Founder Grace felt that being a girl playing football put her at a disadvantage. Whether it was a lack of opportunities to play, or ill-fitting kit, Grace felt everything about playing sport was targeted at boys, with nothing representing her as a female footballer. 

Originally from Skelmersdale (Lancashire), we are so proud to be supporting the Skelmersdale School Girls Football League and recognise the amazing opportunities they're giving the next generation of female footballers across the region.  A few months back, we conducted a survey with the Miss Kick community. Out of 500 participants, over 40% felt that the biggest barrier stopping girls in your area participating in football was access in schools. We felt it was important to target this, and work on changing that statistic!

This league, along with numerous other across the country, are providing the next generation of female footballers the opportunities that Grace longed for, and giving girls the chance to play without limits!

A partnership close to our hearts, both Grace and Kara’s Primary schools will play in the league (so that's going to get competitive). We can’t wait to come down to meet the girls during the year.
